Effectiveness of integrating program visualizations to a programming course
Lahtinen, E., Ahoniemi, T. and Salo, A.
To gain optimal benefits from program visualizations,
their use in courses should be consistent. Instead of
just covering all the topics they should also cover all
the different learning situations and cognitive levels
relating to the subject. We have integrated visualizations accordingly to our programming course and
present some results about their usage in this paper.
Our students showed a significant interest in using the
visualization tool voluntarily. |
