Checking Feasible Completeness of Domain Models with Natural Language Queries
Kop,C.
During the design of information systems it is important to know when a conceptual model of a database is complete. Completing the conceptual database model is a communication process between end users and designers. At the end of the process, both kinds of stakeholders agree
that the model has reached a state where it can fulfill the purpose for which it is designed. Natural language queries play an important role as test cases in this process. They are understandable by the end user and help to discuss the model. Hence, this paper focuses on natural language queries as one mean (among others) to test if a conceptual model (domain model) is complete. |
